Overview

I keep this website simple.

There are no contact forms, no user accounts, no comments, and no mailing list. If you want to contact me, the normal route is to email me directly.

Website analytics

I use Plausible Analytics to understand general website traffic, such as which pages are visited and how the site is performing. This is used only to monitor and improve the website. It is not used to identify individual visitors or to build marketing profiles.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics.

If you email me

If you contact me by email, I may process personal information such as your name, email address, company and job-role details, business contact details, and any enquiry or project information you choose to provide.

Where relevant, I may also process information needed for quotations, contracts, invoicing, and basic client due diligence. I may occasionally review publicly available professional information, such as company websites or LinkedIn profiles, where reasonably necessary in connection with a business enquiry or working relationship.

I use this information only for legitimate business purposes, which may include:

replying to your enquiry;
discussing potential work;
preparing proposals or quotations;
carrying out agreed work; and
keeping appropriate business records.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). The ICO says a privacy notice should explain key items such as your purposes for processing, retention, and who information may be shared with.
